ScreenshotMaker is a native macOS and iOS app for designing App Store preview screenshots. Your privacy matters. This policy explains exactly what data ScreenshotMaker handles, where it goes, and how to control it.
ScreenshotMaker does not require an account. It does not collect personal information, does not use advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not perform any cross-app tracking. The developer has no servers and receives no data from your use of the app.
Everything you create in ScreenshotMaker stays on your devices and in your own iCloud account. This includes projects, imported screenshots, themes, and exports. The following data is stored locally and, when iCloud Documents is enabled, synced through your private iCloud container:
This data is visible only to you, within your own Apple ID's iCloud account. The developer cannot access it.
ScreenshotMaker uses Apple's iCloud Documents (ubiquity container) so your project files sync across your Mac, iPad, and iPhone. Sync runs entirely through Apple's iCloud infrastructure; no third-party service is involved. You can manage or remove this data at any time from your device's iCloud settings.
ScreenshotMaker may request permission to read images from your Photo Library so you can import existing screenshots into a project, and to save exported images back to your Photo Library if you choose. Photo access is only used for these explicit user-initiated actions. No images are accessed or read otherwise, and nothing from your library is sent off your device.
When you import a screenshot or export to a local folder, the app uses Apple's standard file picker. It can only read and write files and folders you explicitly select.
All rendering, layout, and export happens on your device. The app uses the network only to sync your projects through your own iCloud Documents container, when iCloud is enabled on your device.
The app does not use advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking SDKs of any kind.

The website uses Mixpanel to understand how visitors discover and navigate the site, including anonymous interaction events (such as page views and clicks) and session replays of activity on the website. This applies to the website only, is operated by the developer, and is processed by Mixpanel, Inc. under Mixpanel's privacy policy. It is separate from the ScreenshotMaker app described above, which contains no analytics or tracking SDKs.
ScreenshotMaker is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
